Olivier Echouafni will not be extended by PSG, according to L’Équipe. The coach, just French champion in women’s D1, is at the end of his contract.
His departure is becoming clearer. According to The team, Paris Saint-Germain noted that Olivier Echouafni’s contract would not be renewed. The coach of the first team of the women’s section, however, comes out of a historic season, after the first championship title won after a 14-year-long Lyon hegemony. But he was at the end of his contract, in June, and the club would look for another manager.
Olivier Echouafni would not be the only one of the technical staff to pack his bags on June 30. Bruno Valencony, the goalkeeper coach, is also expected to follow him. This could also be the case for physical trainer Sébastien Lopez-Guia.
