Sonepat, Nov 29 (Language) Farmers protesting against the new agricultural laws also protested on the Indus border on Sunday. After Sunday’s meeting, the farmers’ organizations said that the farmers will not go to Burari and will also call back their colleagues present there. Also, it was said to disrupt all the routes going to Delhi. The farmers have also started blocking the alternate routes of the Singhu and Kundali borders to Delhi on Sunday. Several important decisions were taken today in the meeting of farmer groups, in which it was clearly denied to sit on the border of Delhi and go to Burari field. He said that now the agitators will immediately close Delhi’s borders from five sides. Simultaneously, a common committee of farmer groups has been formed which will take all strategic decisions in the future. It was also agreed in the meeting that no political party leader would be allowed to speak on the platform of the peasant movement. Apart from this, fury was also expressed over the alleged atrocities on farmers in Haryana. Haryana State President of Bakiu, Gurnam Singh Chaduni said in a statement that farmers now have no intention of going to Burari. The government first lathi, water showers and tear gas shells. He said that 30-32 cases have been registered against us from Ambala to here. A case of murder has been registered against us. We fear that some anti-social elements, like Jat reservation, should not enter between us and do nothing untoward. So we are cautious. Gurnam Singh said that now the farmer of Haryana has also started to support us. Farmer organizations have already said that they have come to encircle Delhi, not to surround Delhi. If Home Minister Amit Shah wants to come and talk to Burari, we will not agree. Farmer groups say that if the government is serious about the demand of farmers, then they should stop putting conditions. The government should stop thinking that their statements can give an explanation to the farmers about the benefits of the law. Also said that our demands are clear and the government came up with a solution.
