A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan has died of the corona virus in Delhi. The CRPF has said that the jawan was admitted to a hospital in Delhi last week after the corona examination report came back positive. The age of the young man who died due to corona is said to be 55 years.
Explain that 15 personnel posted in the Central Reserve Police Force battalion in Delhi have been found infected with Kovid-19. This information was given by the authorities on Saturday (25 April). A senior official said that the person belonged to the 31st battalion of CRPF whose nine personnel were found infected with Kovid-19 on Thursday (23 April).

With these latest cases, the number of infected personnel in this unit has increased to 24. The official said that the patients have been isolated and have been admitted to a hospital in Mandavali here. He said samples of about 12 more personnel of the unit have been sent for examination and their investigation report is awaited.
The officer said the personnel of this unit was examined after a head constable going to the battalion last week found Kovid-19 infected. The head constable is employed as a nursing worker and is part of the 162nd battalion deployed at Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. He came to Noida on leave. The jawan was asked to go to the 31st Battalion for investigation and he was found infected with Kovid-19 on 21 April.
