The hero is all set to launch the Extreme 200S BS-VI version in the Indian market. The manufacturers have announced that the bike will be launched soon.
Although the date has not been announced, dealer circles have released some information about the price of the upcoming motorcycle. The ex-showroom price of the BS-VI model is expected to be around Rs 1,15,714.
The old BS-IV version was priced at Rs 1.02 lakh ex-showroom. The updated model will retain the styling indications from the BS-IV version.
Features LED headlamps, full-fairing design, digital instrument cluster, upright aeronomics, and a step-up saddle. The other features of the bike will remain the same as the old motorcycle. In addition, telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear will continue to be used for suspension adjustment.
Disc brakes are included on both sides for safety. Single-channel ABS will also be a feature of the bike. The company will share the engine with the Xplus 200 but has not disclosed further details.
The Xplus 200 is powered by a 199.6 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. This engine produces 17.8 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 16.45 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Judging by the other news from the brand, the manufacturers are also offering a handful of offers for most models in conjunction with the festive season.
