For the “classic” of Ligue 1, Mauricio Pochettino made classic choices for his group, revealed this Sunday, on the day of the match against Olympique de Marseille (8:45 pm). Apart from the five packages, already formalized the day before, Paris Saint-Germain relies on its usual men to welcome Coach Falcons, with the return of Marquinhos and ngel di Maria. While some supporters have already announced that they will strike for encouragement, the meeting promises to be tense.

Five absences for PSG are to be condemned. Defenders Abdou Diallo and Levin Kurzawa, as well as midfielder Ander Herrera, are currently undergoing treatment and should resume group training from next week. The absence will be long for Julian Drexler, who is currently recovering from surgery on the outer meniscus of his right knee, and especially Leandro Paredes, who has operated for Puebulgia and for whom the season is already over.

Dugga at rest

Compared to last week’s match against Clermont, PSG recovered several valuable elements: after resting, Marquinhos returned to the group, while Di Maria and Keylor Navas left the hospital. His absence did not prevent the Parisians from moving completely around the Gabriel-Montpide stadium with a celebration of goals (6–1). These returns deprive Colin Dugga of presence in the group.

For Capital Club, this match against Marseille represents the last major meeting of the season. After their exit against Real Madrid in the Champions League kicked out of all competitions, Pochettino’s players would only have to validate their title in Ligue 1. At the moment, they are 12 points ahead of their evening opponents and the Dolphins. Seven days from the end, a win would almost guarantee them the trophy.
