François Latexier will be the referee for the clash between PSG and OM, which is scheduled for Sunday evening at the end of the 32nd day of Ligue 1. Willie Delajode and Cyril Gringor will be on video assist.
This is the first time he is at the helm of the classic. The clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille on Sunday evening (8:45 pm) will be led by François Latexier. The 32-year-old referee, a UEFA international, will be assisted by Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni.
Thomas Leonard was appointed the fourth referee for this poster on Day 32 of Ligue 1. In Video Assistance (VAR), Willie Delajode was appointed alongside Cyril Gringor.
Two penalties for OM, none for PSG
François Latexier has refereeed PSG five times this season in Ligue 1. The last time was on 13 March, when the Parisians won 3–0 against the Girondins de Bordeaux. Om has seen little of him: he has only refereeed the Marseille club twice in the league. Dimitri Payet’s teammates benefited from penalties in these two meetings (1–1 against Reims in December and 1–1 against Troyes in February). The Parisians had none.
With all teams combined, Latexier has refereed 16 Ligue 1 games this season. His record is 74 yellow cards, one out by second warning, four direct red cards and ten penalty whistles. Outside of Ligue 1, three Champions League group matches have been assigned to them by UEFA: Young Boys–Manchester United in September, Chelsea–Malmö in October, Dortmund–Basiktas in December. He also officiated in the Europa League round of 16 between Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta.
