PSG announce GOAT as new sponsor on Paris jersey sleeve, no Mbappé on communication

GOAT, an online sales and resale platform for clothing and sneakers, has become the new partner of PSG. As such, the site’s logo will be displayed on the sleeves of the Paris jersey from July 1, 2022. It could bring in 50 million euros in three years.

A round of 50 million euros. PSG this Thursday announced a new “core partner” with GOAT, a fashion and lifestyle site that sells emerging brands, including vintage equipment or sneakers, for primary sale or resale. The stage logo will therefore be displayed on the sleeves of the Paris jersey from July 1, 2022, on both training, warm-up and match outfits.

50 million euros in three years?

On the GOAT site, it is already the best part of Paris Saint-Germain, which appears on the home page with Lionel Messi, Neymar, Presnel Kimpembe, Marco Verratti, Achraf Hakimi … of uncertainty about its future. The reason is no doubt, as the French striker is out of contract and very polite by Real Madrid.

The aim of this partnership, according to the club’s chief partnership officer, Mark Armstrong, is to “strengthen our position as an icon of sport and style with supporters around the world”. GOAT, through its CEO Eddie Lu, announces “innovative collaborations in the coming months and years”.

The brand will replace Qatari national bank QNG, whose contract expires at the end of the season. Le Parisien talks of contracts worth millions of euros. The team advances an amount of 50 million euros over three years.
