OL are under pressure to welcome Bordeaux, a team struggling to survive in the top flight. Relegated from the Europa League this week, the Lyon club will not be able to rely on many of its supporters (Bad Gone and Lyon 1950) and will have to do without its two officials, Anthony Lopes and Tongue Ndombele.

The goalkeeper suffered a right thigh injury in Strasbourg on 11 April, a match that also left the French international with a left thigh injury. López had already skipped participating in the Europa League quarter-finals against West Ham (0–3), and it would again be set up by German goalkeeper, Julian Polersbeck.

Cadavere, Caqueret and Charki also absent

Ndombele still lined up against the English, but had left during the game and was clearly not in a position to play. Ailing Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadevare is also absent for this redemption match. Like Diomande, Caqueret and Cherki, always on edge. Conversely, the Girondins lost Pembele by the end of the season but recovered Oudin and Birand.
