OL-Bordeaux: Dubois and Denayer last minute packages, bad news accumulates in Lyon

Ahead of Bordeaux’s reception in Ligue 1 this Sunday, OL coach Peter Bos had to change his plans as Leo Dubois and Jason Denyer withdrew before kick-off.

The bad news continues in OL. Goons received Bordeaux in an overwhelming atmosphere this Sunday, three days after their Europa League quarter-final exit against West Ham. Excluded by two turns, Peter Boas’ players received another bad news ahead of the start of the meeting on Day 32 of Ligue 1.

In the group for the game, Leo Dubois felt a muscle sore and is not on the score sheet. Present during the green, the Lyon captain is finally in the stands, the club not wanting to take any risks.

Denair injured at the last minute

Another blow: Jason Denyer’s absence. The declared holder, with Castello Lucaba in central defence, was injured in the Belgian warm-up and was replaced by Damien da Silva. These absences have been added to those already recorded by Anthony Lopes, Tanguy Nombele, Tino Cadavere, Maxens Caqueret, Cinali Diomande and Ryan Cherkey.

With a reduced group, Goons must win against Bordeaux to find a smile in a delicate season from start to finish. It would be without Bad Gons and Lyon 1950, absent in the turn of the Gruppama stadium, to protest after “many defeats” against West Ham on the European scene.
