The English press reported on Monday that Bruno Fernandes has been a victim of a road accident. Manchester United’s Portuguese midfielder is doing well and should be able to retain his place for Tuesday’s Premier League match against Liverpool.

More fear than loss for Bruno Fernandes. The Manchester United midfielder was injured in a car accident at the wheel of his Porsche on Monday while he was on his way to training, reports The Press Association as quoted by Daily Mail. According to the English press, the 27-year-old Portuguese “survived serious injuries” and is doing as well as others involved in the accident.


Ralph Rangnick will most likely give an update on the player’s health status at a news conference this Monday afternoon, but Bruno Fernandes should be able to train normally. Aside from the surprise, he will be able to retain his place in the Premier League (9PM on The Indian Paper 1) this Tuesday evening at Liverpool.
