UNFP announced on Thursday that Martin Terrier has been voted Ligue 1 player of the month for March. Stade Renais strikers, who scored three goals in three matches, were in opposition to Wissam Ben Yeder and Arkadius Milik.
With three league games played in March, Rennes scored a full card with just as much success and scored 12 goals. Three of them were signed by Martin Terrier, who is currently the second top scorer in Ligue 1, with 18 goals, two less than Kylian Mbappe. The former OL player was rewarded for his performances with the UNFP Player of the Month trophy for March.

With 35% of the vote, Martin Terrier was elected against Wissam Ben Yedder and Arkadius Milik. The 25-year-old was chosen by public and peer vote, succeeding Kylian Mbappe, who was elected in February.
In this month of April, Martin Terrier has scored two new goals in a draw against Rennes (1-1) and a win against Reims (3-2). But Bruno Genesio’s team, despite an elimination against Leicester in the Europa Conference League, was particularly impressed in March by a win against OL (4-2), where the Terriers found fault. He scored twice in a major breakthrough against Metz (6–1).
Third in Ligue 1 after 31 days, Rennes is four points ahead of Strasbourg, who are currently in fourth place. The two teams will meet on April 20 but before that, Martin Terrier and his teammates will host Monaco this Friday, another team with three consecutive wins at the moment.
