Under contract with Tottenham until June 2023, Conte will see himself as a successor to Mauricio Pochettino, also on the Spurs bench, whom very few observers see as continuing in PSG’s favour. At a press conference this week, the Argentine technician brushed off a question about his future. “I still have a year of contract, so logically it’s a contractual question, not a will.”

In competition with Zidane?

Appointed to the Tottenham bench in November 2021 to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, Conte, who is currently fourth in the Premier League with Spurs, will therefore enter the dance for a possible succession to Pochettino. In this case, the name that comes up most often is definitely Zinedine Zidane.
