A part of the Ghelmko Arena’s roof blown off: the meeting between Ghent and Tsering postponed

Belgium is subject to strong winds from Hurricane Eunice. In Ghent, a portion of the Ghelmco Arena’s roof blew into a nearby car park. In the process, the Pro League announced that the Friday evening match between La Gantois and Sering has been postponed. “In view of the inclement weather conditions and to guarantee the safety of players, colleagues and spectators, the match La Gantois – RFC Sering has been postponed tonight”, the Pro League wrote.

On images circulated on social networks, we can see fragments of the Ghelmco Arena’s roof that landed on cars parked in the stadium’s parking lot.
