Until now, the Japanese manufacturer’s streaming game service only offered players a definition limited to 720p. This move to Full HD shouldn’t make a major change for older titles, but should be very beneficial for newer games. Above all, it allows Sony to catch up with a certain delay in the face of competition which is now more numerous and which already offered streaming in 1080p, or even in 4K, as is the case on Stadia, Google’s platform.
