Chandigarh, Nov 16 (PTI) BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh said on Monday that his party has started preparations to contest all 117 seats in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections on a war footing. Chugh said that the organizational structure is being strengthened at 23000 polling stations of the state by uniting BJP workers at the grassroots level. “The BJP president will inaugurate the ten district offices of the party digitally on November 19, and the party workers will be enthusiastic for the upcoming assembly elections,” he said in a statement here.

Chugh said that the organizational structure is being strengthened at 23000 polling stations of the state by uniting BJP workers at the grassroots level. “The BJP president will digitally inaugurate the ten district offices of the party on November 19 and will undertake a three-day visit to the state to take stock of the preparations and energize the party workers for the upcoming assembly elections,” he said in a statement here. . He said that the party leaders led by state president Ashwani Sharma will popularize 160 public welfare schemes of the Narendra Modi government in Punjab and make people aware of the work done on them in the state. The BJP general secretary said that the party has started preparations for fighting in all 117 assembly seats of Punjab on a war footing. About two months ago, the Shiromani Akali Dal left the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the Centre’s agricultural laws. According to the formula for seat sharing between the two parties, the BJP fielded candidates on three of the 13 parliamentary seats and 23 of the 117 assembly constituencies. The rest were SAD candidates.
