Bank is not offering Mudra loan? Then complain on these numbers

Under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, three types of loans are Shishu Loan, Kishore Loan and Tarun Mudra Loan. Under this, there is a provision of loan from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 10 lakh. Three categories of Mudra loans

  • Mudra Yojana is an abbreviation for Micro Unit Development Refinance Agency (MUDRA). If you want to expand your business, you can take a loan of up to 10 lakh rupees from the bank under this scheme.
  • There are three types of loans – Shishu loan, Kishore loan and Tarun Mudra loan are given under Mudra scheme.
  • Shishu Mudra Loan: Anyone starting their business or starting a start-up can take a loan of up to 50 thousand rupees under it.
  • Kishore Mudra Loan: Under this scheme, people who have their own business but have not been established yet, such people can take loans ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 5 lakh. For this, you may have to pay 14 to 17 percent interest.
  • Tarun Mudra Loan: Under this, a loan of up to one million rupees can be got for the expansion of business. It has to pay 16 percent interest.

Documents required for loan

For taking a Mudra loan from State Bank of India, an identity card, residence proof, bank statement, photograph, sales documents, price quotations, business ID and address certificate are required. Apart from this, information about GST identification number, income tax return will also have to be given. You can apply for Mudra loan by visiting this website of SBI.

Current and new units

Loans sanctioned under the Mudra scheme are guaranteed by the Credit Guarantee for Micro Units and are provided through the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC). Guarantee cover is available for five years. Therefore the maximum period for loans offered under Mudra Yojana is 60 months. The loans are now available on the Leeds Entrepreneur Mitra portal (www.udyamimitra.in). Branches can access the site with a username and password. Mudra Rupees card will be issued by all branches for all eligible CC accounts.
