Chandigarh, Nov 28 (Punjab) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Saturday urged farmers to accept the appeal of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and take their protest to the venue so that their issue can be resolved at the earliest. To get out of the way Singh’s statement comes after Union Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to the farmers on Saturday to go to Burari Maidan in the national capital to protest. Also, the Home Minister had also said that the central government is ready to negotiate with the farmers as soon as they go to the designated site. The Chief Minister said in a statement that Shah’s offer to interact with the farmers shows that the central government is ready to listen to the farmers and this is a welcome move. The Chief Minister said that the solution to the current deadlock over agricultural laws is just negotiation.
