Chandigarh, Nov 29 (Punjab) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Sunday asked why his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar did not resort to the official channel to contact him. Khattar had alleged that he wanted to talk to Singh on the issue of farmers but he did not respond even after constant calls. Describing the call records issued by Khattar as ‘completely fake’, Singh said that the Chief Minister of Haryana is displaying his ‘slyness’ in this way. Khattar had released a call record claiming proof of contact. Singh said, “If someone from his (Khattar) office called me at my residence then why was the phone call made to the attendant (attendant)?” Why was the official channel not followed to contact me? “Singh said,” The top officials of the Punjab government, the Chief Secretary and other officers, including the Director General of Police, have been in contact with each other for several days on farmers’ issues. And yet none of these officials were told that they wanted to talk to me. ”Singh said that the Chief Minister of Haryana could have called him directly from his phone on his phone. The Punjab Chief Minister accused Khattar that he had no ‘serious intention’ to discuss the farmers’ performance.
