(Sajjad Hussain) Islamabad, Nov 24 (PTI) After the confirmation of 2954 new patients of corona virus in Pakistan on Tuesday, the provincial governments have issued new guidelines to stop the spread of infectious disease including limiting attendance at offices and Order has been given to close cinema halls and religious places. The total cases of Kovid-19 in Pakistan increased to 3,79,883. The health department of the country’s largest province, Punjab, has issued new guidelines to limit attendance in government and private offices. The department said that only 50 percent of the staff offices came and the remaining employees worked from home. The Sindh government has introduced more restrictions to stop the spread of corona virus. The government has made it mandatory to apply masks in government and private offices and in public places. The government says that the rules breakers will be fined. Weddings are not allowed in closed places and weddings can be held only in open places, where a maximum of 200 guests are allowed. Buffet banquets (for guests to cook on large tables) have been banned and food must be served only in tiffins. Apart from this, orders have been ordered to close places like gyms, sports centers, cinema halls and religious places. The provincial government said that on Friday and Sunday, all shops except the essential service shops will remain closed while the shops will open only till six in the evening. Eating in restaurants will be prohibited. Food can be transported (delivered) or packed and transported. At the same place, Khanpa can be served till 10 in the night. In both provinces, these restrictions will remain in force till 31 January. The National Health Service Ministry said that 48 people have died in the last 24 hours. After this, the death toll has reached 7744. About 3,31,760 people have been freed from infection while 1751 patients are in critical condition. The number of patients being treated for infection in the country has increased to 40,379. Prime Minister Imran Khan recently warned that if the situation deteriorates, a complete lockdown will be imposed. The authorities on Tuesday decided to close all educational institutions from 26 November to 10 January.
