According to the District Child Protection Officers, Badal, who aspires to become an IAS officer or NDA officer, has won 110 medals in events ranging from district to national level. According to District Child Protection Officer Dr. Ritu Gill, Badal, aged just two years, was left by his maternal uncle at the child care center Sapna Bal Kunj Gohana. Now Badal’s age is 14 years. Since then, no one has come to meet Badal again. When contacted at the given address, no family members were detected. According to Child Protection Officer (Institutional) Mamta Sharma, Badal is currently an eighth grade student at Global Public School Gohana. Badal is rich in all-round talent and along with education, he is also earning a name in various creative and artistic activities and sports events. Badal has won medals of 100 meters race and painting etc. at the national level. Similarly, he has won six medals at the state level, including the gold medal. Child Protection Officer Mamta says that Badal makes beautiful paintings and when given the opportunity, sells them and also arranges the necessary items to enhance his art. He keeps trying to raise economic resources at his level too. He has sold 50-60 of his paintings. Badal has recently received a gold medal in the photography event of the Children’s Day event. Badal said that he would like to work effectively towards improving the future of destitute children.
